We won't get anyone paying that after last season. At least WHU will punt it at his head all game.

I think some of that money went on covering the Suarez deal, since we farted around bidding £14m for him, and then suddenly bid £22m.

Agreed that we should've gone higher. I'm sure Kenny and Comolli were convinced they could mould him into a Llorente type of player. I guess Rodgers has looked at tapes of him with fresh eyes and decided he can't be it.
