Hid goal was a bit **** too. He fired right at the keeper. But some of his other touches were really good. He offers something else and I think we should keep him for sure.

Considering how poor Carroll is at coming off the bench or playing irregularly he is an absolutely awful choice for a plan b.
We will never get close the amount we paid for him we over paid by nearly £30m for him, but to get a player of better quality won't be hard, Carroll is a very average and highly limited player.

The guy was poor for the first year that he was with us, but he's improved massively since February and was one of our better players towards the end of last season. Even Carroll's greatest critics must be able to see that.

Let's get behind him and hope he carries on improving for as long as he's here.

I like Andy, he works hard and does well.. people keep going on about the 35mil we spent on him a year and a half ago, the damage is done.. get over it for **** sake its like a kid yapping on about a toy that was throwin out against his will, only difference is the kid moves on with what hes got.

He's the only real striker we have, imo suarez is not a striker, he's a center forward, or a wing forward, he makes the play.. same with Borini, maybe a bit more of a striker but still he's not a target man... Carroll can head the ball, good with his feet, bullies defender's... all we need is for the goals to start coming, and with the raw talent that he has i can see them coming.

When comes off the bench our whole style of play up front changes ever so slightly, it throws the defenders off they dont know whats happening next, they get tired when we play the passing game, then Andy comes on and his strength zaps whatever stamina the defenders have left..

One criticism i have of him is he CAN be clumsy with his feet, falling over himself etc. but not as much as when we signed him.. he's turned a corner and wants to make this work, yet our fans dont seem to see that, do they?
