Andy Carroll is one of those blessed players who gets a very easy ride on here ... players like Lucas, Henderson, Adam, Downing, on the other hand get / got nailed to the wall regularly ... noticeably with Adam the other night

Andy Carroll is a top footballer anybody who thinks otherwise is a mellon.

Yet you have someone on the other page slaughtering him for missing a chance from 5 yards out and saying we should sell on that basis

Do we also apply that to the rest of our players who have and will frequently miss from 5 yards out?

Well thats fine but do we also apply the same to Suarez who frequently misses chances also

Some of the ****e on this forum is horrendous

Fine criticise him for not being good overall but some of the stuff is petty ****ing nonsense and is not in anyway balanced
To be fair lecter, his heading in front of goal is nowhere near good enough for the 2nd ****ing coming of Center Forwards ..nowhere near ... he needs to at least get it on target .... I think a lot of it stems from the fact he feeds of scraps in terms of service .. puts more pressure on him .. because in his mind he is think **** ... I will get one more chance in the next 50 minutes ... and comparing him to Suarez is like comparing apples and organges ... perhaps Suarez could have been more clinical in front of goal by the majority if goals we did / do score is because of Suarez's trickery in and around of the box .. he might not be scoring the goals but his team mates know he is doing most of the attacking heavy lifting

Lec, disagree with your point that Newcastle hold all the cards, they don't.

We still have Carroll. It is a game of brinkmanship now. We'll probably lose (as we are crap at this kind of thing) but if we were to play it correctly we could mitigate our loses, relatively speaking.

We need to stop being so soft. Our valuation of Carroll is x and we wont accept a penny less. If Newcastle don't match this then he's a valuable member of the squad - simple as. And as someone else has pointed out, it might just show Big Andy that Newcastle aren't really that bothered about having him back.

As we know 12 months is a very long time in football.

I've got no problems when people put arguments with balance but when its hyperbolic ****e based on one flaw that they are solely applying to one person without criticising another for the exact same failings then its ****ing horse**** imo

How many times have we heard these comments and then only see us fold and cave in at the last minute

The only card we hold is that Carroll is our player

I genuinely think we blew our hand a long time ago. Rodgers did this by going public over loaning him etc.. he might as well have bent over the desk and dropped his trousers

Not only did it tell the world we were weak it also antagonised the player

Yes 12 months is a long time in football but remember Rafa alienating Alonso and he didnt forget 12 months later and neither will Carroll imo

It really doesn't bother me at all.

I'm just surprised that someone would comment on that and not on the video itself.

The bottom line is no matter what type of music I choose or I have chosen someone would not like it.
You get enough people patting you on the back for all the work that goes into these video's, i've done it myself, the only criticisms i have are the music choices on them which i've been kind enough to point out.
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

I just had a gander for the first time. From the feedback, I was expecting tambourines and banjos. The music isn't that bad. A bit 'gay rave', but then it's a football compilation.

Perhaps tambourines and banjos are the way to go.
                      Oh I don't know.

Chanting, screaming and meat slapping. Sounds about right in Carroll's case.

He received a fantastic reception from the Kop when he was warming up in the Gomel game. Every time he ran down that way there were big cheers, so I don't really buy into him not being supported.

Sure I might have knocked him on a forum, but thats not the same as turning up at a game and shouting abuse when he isn't playing well. Most fans can see he was really trying towards the back end of last season, and thats brought a turnaround in tolerance towards him for a lot of people.

Imagine the interplay of a front four consisting of Dilva, ****house, Tambourine and Banjo.
                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
