I know I'll be in a minority but I'm sorry to see him go, I think there is a good player in there somewhere.

    Good luck to him though.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It has yes - but no point beating ourselves up over this one. Damage was done on Day 0 unfortunately.

We're going to be better off whatever happens with him as long as he's out of the club. Not his fault though as others have pointed out.
      Hello mert.

Been convincing myself Newcastle would come in with a late bid.

Think I'll go back to glass half empty henceforth.

Yeah....no hard feelings. Never a peep out of him (unless those stories about poor training efforts etc were ever substantiated).

Doubt he'll end up at West Ham permanently, but he's finished with us.

Well he's off the wage bill but not doing us any favours for funds for a replacement striker with some quality. Think Dempsey will be Carrolls replacement

Well you'd have to say that the only reason Bren-Ro would let this happen and as a loan rather than a sale- (especially with Carroll reluctant to leave) is that he's been allowed funds in good faith that he'll recoup Carroll's fee in 12mths to make a signing to replace him now.
                  *crosses fingers for Llorente*
                  Assaidi - replaces Bellamy,
                  Allen has replaced Adam,
                  Sahin will replace Maxi
so Dempsey would surely be a replacement for Kuyt.
the new Turkish German fella can't be the replacement for big Andy! can he?

We are Liverpool. Buy em high, sell em low.

Ridiculous move unless we have a striker of at least equal quality coming in.

We now need 2 forwards before the window closes. We were short up top last season, we've lost Kuyt, Bellamy & Carroll and brought in Borrini.

So we have Suarez, Borrini and Morgan as our forwards... If it stays that way I would struggle to think of a worse Liverpool attack in my lifetime.

We absolutely must get 2 forwards in the next 24 hours.

I guess none of can be too surprised. So what now? Dempsey? Walcott? Both? Or someone else? If the owners are prepared to give Rodgers the money in advance I think I'd rather we spent the lot on one outstanding striker. Someone who going to come in and take us up a level

So other than wages, how does this move benefit us this season. 35 million striker not even in our team. Hope we are looking at buying a striker and hopefully someone better than Dempsey.
It's a prediction thread on a wish list.
