I know I'll be in a minority but I'm sorry to see him go, I think there is a good player in there somewhere.
Good luck to him though.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
Well he's off the wage bill but not doing us any favours for funds for a replacement striker with some quality. Think Dempsey will be Carrolls replacement

Well you'd have to say that the only reason Bren-Ro would let this happen and as a loan rather than a sale- (especially with Carroll reluctant to leave) is that he's been allowed funds in good faith that he'll recoup Carroll's fee in 12mths to make a signing to replace him now.
*crosses fingers for Llorente*
Assaidi - replaces Bellamy,
Allen has replaced Adam,
Sahin will replace Maxi
so Dempsey would surely be a replacement for Kuyt.
the new Turkish German fella can't be the replacement for big Andy! can he?
I guess none of can be too surprised. So what now? Dempsey? Walcott? Both? Or someone else? If the owners are prepared to give Rodgers the money in advance I think I'd rather we spent the lot on one outstanding striker. Someone who going to come in and take us up a level
So other than wages, how does this move benefit us this season. 35 million striker not even in our team. Hope we are looking at buying a striker and hopefully someone better than Dempsey.
