Last season he got nine goals for us, when he wasn't fully fit, and wasn't playing regularly, he improved towards the end of last season so should have been capable of doing better this season. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Maybe, but seeing the emphasis on pressing now I just don't see it, hope he does well for West Ham, seeing as he can't play usOriginally posted by Exiled_red View PostLast season he got nine goals for us, when he wasn't fully fit, and wasn't playing regularly, he improved towards the end of last season so should have been capable of doing better this season.

A friend of mine has just text me about Carroll saying he's disappointed he's going out on loan.
Also said he wouldn't be surprised if we signed Michael Owen on a pay as you play basis, you've heard it here first!
Don't think he has any insider knowledge as such. Can't see us going for Owen really.
My dad would be pleased though he loves him.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Always, keep your face to the sun, and shadows will fall behind you.

I thought he'd be ****e when he signed and hated seeing him lumbering around like a slow motion hippo. I couldn't stand the way he flicked his arms and pony tail together, loathed seeing Carragher and Enrique lump the ball up to him, despaired at his lack of first touch and finesse and was angry we had been made mugs of in the transfer market, making a championship player one of the top 10 most expensive signings ever. I was frustrated that we could have got so much more for the money.
Some things I did like were when he chased the ball to the corner flag and he got a standing ovation; he had a killer 20 minutes in our worst Cup Final performance against Chelsea. I also liked how he almost improved to having a first touch. He did seem like a really nice, down to earth lad. It wasn't his fault, he genuinely was a symptom of a ****ty time and a decision made by bad decision makers.
One thing I love about this whole Andy Carroll debacle, just love - LOVE is...
.....how much Brendan Rodgers has made a cunt out of Chris

"slow motion hippo"
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?
