It's been a disaster for West Ham so far. He's played 678 minutes for them in the Premier League and only scored 1 goal (a consolation goal in a 3-1 loss). He's then been out injured since the end of November

I agree with Bender, unless he drops his wages and gets a move to a team like Stoke/Norwich etc. then I can see him dropping down a league at some point.

There's no chance West Ham will complete the deal as agreed, I think he'll end up going for less than £10m in the end.

Yup, agree.

Stoke is a very good shout actually if Newcastle decide not to go for him. £10m is definitely the best that we can hope for unless he goes on an incredible run between now and the end of the season.

Such a massive mistake. I remember trying to justify it in my head at the time as a long term investment. How wrong was I.

It is also looking like a cracking bit of foresight by Brendon. Shipped out a player who has gotten one goal and only played that many minuites. Id rather West Ham were paying him to do **** all.
