I agree, and I agree with your middle paragraph too. It was oneupmanship for them, a chance to ruin us, our best player, etc.

Most people will think we're doolally but I don't care ....Ferguson is truly poisonous and will stop at nothing to gain a competitive advantage. They knew what they were doing, and they were adept at making the most of it having experienced a similar thing before, which they ballsed up and learned from their mistakes, while Kenny and LFC were on new ground.
