Was thinking that last night whilst watching this thread from afar It's bizarre - almost like a competition in who can be the most sweary.

He needed space to work in and because of Barcelona being off and Chelsea remaining compact, he didn't get it. I can see the thinking behind it. He offers a more direct option, but he was awful last night. Left far too much space in the middle of the park which Xavi and Busquets struggled to cope with.

Yeah nice pass but that was it, the rest of the time he wandered round like a little boy lost and missed a couple of great chances.

I'd rather Bayern win it than Madrid but would feel more confident with Madrid in the final, still there's hope of a nice 4-0 thrashing next week so will hopefully be irrelevant.

Yep, he's got good stats for the season but doesnt really look like he fits in. It's especially **** when Iniesta spends half his time on the left to accomodate him aswell. They miss Villa hugely, Sanchez is hit and miss, Fabregas isnt a forward, Pedro has struggled for form etc. Still have em all in our team mind!

I really don't get Sanchez. He seems to go in and out of games, and doesn't really score a whole heap. Yet Barca payed something like £25m for him. Although saying that he has scored 10 in the league this season.

I think his Career ratio is 1 goal every 4/5 games. Not really good enough for a striker at the top of the game.

I backed Chelsea at 4/1 massive price for a team at home! Gutted Barca didn't manage an away goal, Chelsea nick 1 away and its gonna be tough for Barca.

I think he's primarily been used as a winger for the majority of his career so far. Although I could be wrong about that!
