I thought Bayern were brilliant tonight, took the game to Real and came back from 2 nil down. Played football as well, it wasn't a purely defensive effort from them once they got back on level terms. Looking at the semi finals, I'd fancy Bayern, look like a really solid team.

    C'mon Bayern!!!

And out of all the teams in the semis I'd have gone for them winning it ideally. Definitely fantastic that ****ing prick Mourinho doesn't get to play Chelsea in the final like he wanted.

Shame he's making excuses again and unsurprisingly has managed to bring Liverpool in to it. Just admit you were beaten by the superior team and move on. He's such a bitter *******.

Thats what I wondered. Maybe he is a German masseuse?

"Hey! Frank, are you a German masseuse, who works for Bayern???"

How do you know it isn't Frank Ribery with a very under the radar alias?
                        Football without Origi is nothing

                          Suspensions for final:

Bayern Munich - Alaba, Gustavo, Badstuber
Chelsea - Terry, Ivanovic, Ramires, Meireles

Half of Bayern's defence out for the final, plus their holding midfielder

                            Exactly.

I reckon this all actually means that we are going to sign Frank Ribery

John Terry barred from lifting European Cup if Chelsea win final
                              • Captain set to miss out if Chelsea win Munich final
                              • Uefa reluctant to let a suspended player on to the pitch

John Terry is set to be denied the opportunity to lift the European Cup should Chelsea triumph in Munich next month because Uefa is reluctant to permit a suspended player from joining in the post-match presentation ceremony on the pitch.

The England defender was dismissed for violent conduct 37 minutes into Tuesday's 2-2 draw at Barcelona after kneeing Alexis Sánchez in the back of his legs. Uefa's control and disciplinary body will decide the length of the ban when it meets on 31 May but the offence carries a minimum one-match sanction, meaning the 31-year-old will miss the final against Bayern Munich in their Allianz Arena on 19 May. The governing body has the power to extend the punishment into next season.

Although Chelsea expect Terry to attend the game in Germany, he will not be permitted to sit on the bench and will have to watch from the stands, just as Paul Scholes and Roy Keane did with Manchester United in 1999 when the midfielders were serving one-match bans. The vice-captain, Frank Lampard, if available and selected, will lead out the team in Terry's absence in Germany and Uefa expects the winning side's captain on the night to mount the podium and accept the trophy. Any proposed change to that arrangement would have to be sanctioned by the governing body's disciplinary committee, but Chelsea are currently relaxed on the issue.

Lampard said: "My ego doesn't need to lift it. I'd love to be a part of the team that wins it and, if we do, anyone can lift [the trophy]. But I'm devastated for John. He's a huge player for the club, a central point as the captain. He'll be there with us. It was hard to console him on Tuesday night but, hopefully, we can win it and do it as a group."

Terry would be entitled to one of the 30 medals awarded to the teams – gold to the winners, silver to the runners-up – as would Branislav Ivanovic, Raul Meireles and Ramires, who are also suspended after picking up their third cautions of the competition at Camp Nou. The system of accumulating yellow cards over what is a 13-match tournament for those entering at the group stage has drawn criticism from Mikel John Obi, with Uefa considering a change to the policy having already agreed that yellow cards will be wiped out after the group stage at Euro 2012.

"When you get to a final everyone wants to see the best players," Mikel said. "The four were devastated in the dressing room. They're happy for the team but very disappointed to not be in the final. It's a shame. We will go out and win the trophy for them."

So it seems there is a mild form of divine retribution and justice in this world.
