Manchester United still the world's richest football club - Forbes
its not the turnover/income its the supposed market value of the club i think
Also, if that's the supposed value of Liverpool, then FSG paid pretty much the correct price I'd guess. I remember all that talk of a Bargain. Clearly not

well it could be turnover i suppose but the article isnt that clear. it says club valued atand the richest which are not the same thing
Roughly as many people that watch 'soccer' in USA.
Baseball generate extreme amounts of money thru advertising. Games last 4 hours so teams rake it in from refreshments in the ground and they play about 40 home games a year too. According to Forbes themself Real Madrid have increased in value by 50% in 3 years - 3 years Barca have been beating them and they have been consistantly failing to go deep in the CL.
Forbes valuations seem to be plucked out of the sky.
Fergie's in charge of the biggest, richest, most popular club in the world, yet his record in Europe is, quite frankly, ****. He's failed on the biggest stage. Struggled on so many occasions. If Rafa was charge of Utd, they'd constantly be reaching semi-finals and finals. Fact.
The headline is wrong, it says 'richest', but in the article it says they are the 'most valuable', which is totally different.

Manchester United remain the world's most valuable football club, according to Forbes magazine.
What this is saying, is that they are the most expensive club to purchase.
