The fact Evans went back is the bit that's completely wrong. If he didn't do that, he wouldn't be in this mess and so that's why he's a sex offender. Regardless of if she said yes to him joining in- she was mid bang with another dude, and hammered pissed. It's a scummy thing to do, and if you end up being accused of rape on the back of it, its kind of your fault.

He's saying she wasn't as drunk as she says and consented to him joining in. If she said yes then you might not approve but he would have done nothing wrong. I guess the appeal court will decide who we should believe. From reading about the case I wouldn't say its completely cut and dry. Appeal could go either way IMO.

Even if he's not guilty he's still a rat for cheating on his girlfriend. Being a love rat isn't a crime though.

I completely agree, that legally he would have done nothing wrong. And in all reality, he possibly should have been found not guilty due to lack of evidence. I expect it to be overturned on appeal

The key is consent. Consenting adults can obviously do what they want to do to each other behind closed doors - but getting a girl wasted taking her to a Hotel and phoning a mate to see if he wants a shot just sounds wrong to me.

Ever see that vid that went round some years ago, one of the first known cases of its time. Ben Alnwick....a reserve keeper from Spurs, Sunderland and others, and two or three mates are screwing this poor drunk girl. As if that's not bad enough, about 5 or 6 of their mates are standing around the side/end of the bed, all fully clothed, bomber jackets on, baseball caps, wanking. Just stood around wanking.
