Mad how tribal on either side so many have become. Surely you just want justice to prevail and the right verdict reached.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Crazy how long this has dragged out I think he should be.able to play but it's a bit of a nimby. Wouldnt want him associated with your club with the backlash

He should be allowed to resume his career. He's innocent until proven guilty but the chances are with whatever new evidence they have will get him cleared as it was enough to quash the original conviction.

This case has stunk from day one.

Well he's proven guilty, so he's guilty.

But he's served his time so should be allowed to resume his career of course.

Whether you want to employ him as a person is a different matter.
                Oh I don't know.

Yeah only recently I think. Could end up with the same outcome of course.

Whatever happens I think he's going to be given a torid time

Mixed. Followed it closely and many are of the view that "he's innocent until proven guilty, he should be free to play" while some are alienated and giving up on the club, returning their season tickets etc.

Not surprising I guess. They must be pretty confident he'll get off this time to have signed him.

Ched Evans: Footballer found not guilty of hotel rape

Footballer Ched Evans has been found not guilty of raping a 19-year-old woman in a hotel room.

The Chesterfield striker was accused of attacking her at a Premier Inn in Rhuddlan, Denbighshire, on 30 May 2011.

Mr Evans, 27, was originally found guilty of rape at Caernarfon Crown Court in 2012, but this conviction was quashed in April.

He was found not guilty of the same charge at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday.

A jury of seven women and five men took just two hours to clear him on Friday, following a two-week trial.

There were gasps and cries in the public gallery when the verdict was read out, with members of Mr Evans's group, including his fiancee, Natasha Massey, breaking down.
Mr Evans was then discharged from the dock and embraced Miss Massey.

He had always denied having sex with the woman while she was too drunk to consent.
He insisted she agreed to let him "join in" while she was having consensual sex with fellow footballer Clayton McDonald, 27 - who cleared of rape at the original trial - after a night out in Rhyl.
