Pep Guardiola / New Barca Manager

Sounds like he will announce his decision either way tomorrow but this French journo reckons he's gonna pack it in.

Yeah, I think he'll move on too.

Dunno where he'll go next. He'll take a year out and then who knows?! City or United perhaps.

Several media and journalists claim that Guardiola has decided not to renew his contract, ahead of a meeting with president Rosell today.

Entourage of Guardiola as well as the club don't make any comment on decision to renew or not. Players will be first informed tomorrow [ona]

If Guardiola leaves, he will start a sabbatical

Can't say I blame him really, the pressure must be intense and having gone so far and won so many football matches, it must be near impossible to keep it going. The mental strain must be intolerable. Maybe he and the team need a freshen up, they certainly look like they've hit the wall.

i did wonder if anyone would answer rafa

interesting choice with his madrid connections and his more pragmatic approach to football. would that fit? is it want barca want?

i cant think of anyone who is a perfect fit. Wenger but hasnt fabregas sort of said he got stale as a footballer there?

there will be someone round to take the job just cant think who will fit with exactly what i think they want

Would they go after a younger man like they did with Guardiola and promote from within. Or someone that plays a similar style.

                  Wenger possibly?
                  *Except Michael, who died.

Bielsa will be the favourite I reckon. He understands their philosophy and of course, his innovative ideas will compliment the work left by Rikjaard and Guardiola.

I can't think of anyone more appropriate for the job. Luis Enrique from Roma has been linked with it in the past too.

Yep good call Bielsa...would be fascinating.

                      Rafa's got absolutely no chance.

Can you imagine him on the touchline banging his head on the wall?

Can you imagine the expressions on the players' faces at training, when he explains to them about the 'two banks of four and lump it to the big man' new style of play they're going to be adopting?
