I used to love England when I was a kid.

Now...I'm not patriotic or nationalistic, have no sense of pride in being English, I detest the majority of the players in the squad, I see our players coming back from international duty injured, I hate the numbskull Ingerlund fans and their ****ty songs and right wing views, I despise the FA and after all England is their team. So **** them. I can't turn my loathing for those players on and off like a tap - I can't stand most of them for 50 weeks a year. Can't just pretend I like them for a fortnight.

And now I hate their manager. So **** em. Hope it's a total disaster.

Meh, England is a distraction from the daily grind for me. I dont like half the players either. But its never really bothered me.

Completely sums up my thoughts on England too. I'd love to get behind my country but I can't do it.
