I still think Utd will win the league, and it would almost be worth it just to piss him off (but just almost worth it).

Just out of interest: What would your combined "Team of Manchester" be?

            ----------------Hart---------------

            Zabaleta--Kompany--Ferdinand--Evra

            ----------Toure---Barry------------

            -----Nasri--------------Silva-------

            ------Rooney-------Aguero---------

Something like that? 3 Man Utd players worthy of a start.

That's probably being kind to Man Utd really.

You could easily make a case for replacing both Ferdinand and Evra with Lescott and Clichy/Kolarov and having an entire City back 5. At RB Richards would be comfortably 2nd choice too.

Valencia is probably close to edging out Nasri though in fairness.

Says it all for me. City should dominate over the next few years.

                Vidic over Ferdinand surely?

I think Tevez is better than Rooney so I'd change those, Vidic for Ferdinand and Clichy instead of Evra. So one United player.

Everyone's said Vidic over Ferdinand. I agree he's a better player, but I didn't include him as he's hardly played.

Didn't pick Clichy as he's been in and out of the side too.

Rooney and Tevez is a close call, but in fairness Ronney has scored a lot of goals this season.

You're right though it could quite legitimately be one United player in there.

You could easily leave out both Vidic & Ferdinand, both past their best and injury prone. Lescott's had a really good season.

So, my combined XI is the City team.

Mine too. Except I'd swap Vidic for Lescott.

To me Tevez will always be a superior player

Scholes would probable get in ahead of Barry, until recently Carrick has been better than him too. You could easily make a case for Valencia or Nani over Nasri this season (some would include Young).
