                      It's the playoff trophy.

                      Not sure but the figure usually quoted is ~£40m

                      The others will get slightly more because of their league position, but the difference is negligible compared to the money they will all get for being in the Premiership

                        Gutted for Blackpool, well...more gutted West Ham are back tbh, BP should have won too, a game not unlike many of ours this season, missed chances cost so much.

                            Admittedly I’m mostly going by FM, but surely gates receipts and merchandise sales make it much more profitable going through playoffs?
                            If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

                              Possibly I'd not thought of that, I guess the revenue from one extra home game would boost that, but I don't know how revenue is split in terms of Championship league position. But again this amount would be negligible in comparison to the extra revenue for being in the Premiership.

                                I'm pretty sure this used to be the case until a few years ago, then they 'fixed' the prize money and going up in 1st or 2nd gets you more.
