They might end up with 5 or 6 today (i dont think they will) but even then it wouldnt be enough.

City currently have an +8 goal advantage. United could and might well score another 3 in this game leaving city +5 by the end of play.
If city beat QPR just 1-0 united would need to put 6 past Sunderland to be level.. So then it would go to goals scored? United would at that point have scored more goals than city. Its a long shot but its not out of the question.
Hope hope City stick 3 or 4 past QPR to put it to bed.Vive la France

I think they could also get a few against Sunderland, Sunderland's back four are basically all Man Utd old boys ...Originally posted by Craig_H View PostThey might end up with 5 or 6 today (i dont think they will) but even then it wouldnt be enough.Last edited by Exiled_red; 06-05-12, 04:55 PM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

City arent just going to beat QPR by one goal though.Originally posted by Robbie-9-Fowler View PostCity currently have an +8 goal advantage. United could and might well score another 3 in this game leaving city +5 by the end of play.

I know people are worried but look at the logic of it. United are 8 goals behind AND they face a much harder game next weekend.

I know yeah, I'm just saying its not out of the question, they have 45 minutes in hand against a club that are looking like conceding a good few more here. How sweet would it be for the 6-1 game cost them on GD, Fergie should have shut up shop and just completely ****ed it up.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostCity arent just going to beat QPR by one goal though.

He's a cunt with a point to prove.. Not saying they'll let United will, but I could imagine the piss head giving a phone call to Bardsley, Richardson, Brown, O'Shea, Campbell and having a wordOriginally posted by Craig_H View PostGetting far fetched now. Joey Barton's ex Man City, so maybe QPR will bend over for City too?

Not as such, Sunderland have nothing to play for and I suspect many of their players are Man Utd fans; they may not be as focused or determined as they would be for other games, this could easily lead to them making mistakes, similarly they could be thinking about their holidays etc. It could easily happen if Man Utd are determined. Sunderland lost by 4 to Everton a few weeks ago, so they are capable of shipping goals.Originally posted by Craig_H View PostYou basically saying Sunderland are on the take, more or less. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
