LOL OooOOoOoOoO, think I touched a nerve there, ey!

Put it this way, most people I know who live and work in Munich are up themselves. Your wife's probably a nice enough fellow and I'm obviously not condemning each and every one from Munich. But Bavarians and the rest of Germany in general have a mutual dislike for each other. The same goes for politics. There have even been suggestions along the years by certain factions of the CSU to split Bavaria from the rest of Germany and create their own 'Freistaat Bayern' [so they can basically get rid of the foreigners and keep all their money to themselves]. They're ****ing up themselves and definitely do not take kindly to foreigners, the ****ing Burschenschaften cunts.

It's also slightly more the younger(ish) generation I'm talking about (coupled however with the deeply conservative older generation) that have firmly got their heads wedged up their own arses. Like it or not, it's a very closed-minded city (and state) and (in Munich) it's all about da $$$. "München ist die beste Stadt!" Load of bollocks. Anyways, for the final, I hope the ****ers win it, as Landan Cockney Faaack is endlessly more distasteful than the (at least partly) educated pompous Munich.

Just a bit worried that Chavski will somehow win this, a second final for them, can many of these players end up losing two finals, i hope so, but i'm not confident.

Drogba and the like will be playing like it's their last meaningful game in their careers, and should really know not to let the game pass them by as some let happen in finals.

Just got a bad bad feeling, hoping and praying i'm wrong, and ofcourse this feeling could simply be pessimism related, and down to me wanting them to lose.

See the thing is though, yesterday - and the eyes, chico, they never lie - you could see it in Di Matteo, he had no answer. And the whole riding the crest of wave stopped at the most inconvenient of times, they thought they could carry that momentum into the final and then I'd have been slightly concerned myself. However Di Matteo is still young, Heynckes has won it all everywhere... and the Chavs have key players out. So do Bayern, but they strike me as an impressive unit, whoever comes in. Chavs don't have their captain fantastic Terry on the pitch, that's definitely something that cannot be swept under the carpet, mentally speaking. This is the kind of guy you need on the pitch, considering their going to the homeground of Munich...

        I'm quietly (!?) confident.

Also, the German season ended last weekend, whereas Chavs still had and have games to play.

Ramires will be their biggest miss...he's been their best player for the past few months.

Yeah, but Matteo blatantly targetted the Final making 8 changes for last nights game.

I just think they'll get lucky, i'm not saying they'll out play Bayern or be superb, i'm just a tad worried it'll all go their way, and it could.

LoL. Well, there are quite a few down there to be fair!

But there is definitely a strong divide between them and the rest of Germany. To be honest, I've hardly even been in Bavaria, I'm more of a free-thinking North German, Berlin/Cologne/Hamburg. But I live in the Southwest, which is passable. It's where the grandparents roots' lie and I can call home.

Sean, or anyone else. How much of a miss are Badstuber and Alaba going to be to Bayern? This worries me. Other than that I can't see how Chelsea can suppress Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Robben, Ribery, Gomez and the much under-rated experienced Kroos.

LOL, I didn't even realise. However, I did post a huge **** off post in the SOPA thread to mark my 4000th post. So it wasn't just a 'ehjehjehejehe ' one!

I'm actually not quite sure, I haven't really followed them. But I'm currently trawling some Bayern forums to see what they have to say about it.

The key difference for me is the resilience of the Germans. Look how they didn't give a single **** when they went down against Real at the Bernabeu 2-0 within 20 minutes. Literally didn't give a ****, just kept smashing them to pieces and eventually got their rewards. This is something I can't see the Chavs doing, as they're a bunch of money-grabbing cunts and - although Bayern obviously pay premium wages as well [nothing like them mind] - you join Bayern because of their history, their tradition, the aura, that spirit. Similar to us really. And I think this has been going on for decades, hence their supreme success, with heavy-weights such as Beckenbauer, Rummenigge and Hoeness et all overseeing things. There's a strong continuity there, has always been.
