Queens Park Rangers have confirmed their retained list with Kieron Dyer handed a new one-year deal.

The 33-year-old former England international joined Rangers last summer but was stretchered off in their opening game of the season with a foot injury.

Surgery followed and that ruled him out for the season, but despite not featuring under Mark Hughes he has handed him a 12-month contract.
                Erm, whyyyyyyy??

                      Dyer is 33

Dyer is still playing and hasn't retired through injury

QPR have offered him a contract extension
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Didier Drogba has confirmed he will quit Chelsea following his Champions League final heroics, according to reports in France. The striker has been quoted saying he informed his team-mates of his decision during the club's open-top bus paradeon Sunday after leading them to the greatest moment in their history on Saturday night.

Drogba, who has reportedly already agreed a deal to join Shanghai Shenhua when his Chelsea contract expires this summer, is said to have admitted he struggled to get the words out and burst into tears.

"We will no longer be together next season," the 34-year-old said in quotes attributed to France Football magazine. "As I decided to leave, I wanted to tell them straight in the eye. Except that I could not do it. They made me crack.

"Even though it's been three years since I said I wanted to leave, I find it hard to admit that it's over with this club – especially as I did not feel like this. But I could not see myself sitting on the bench to watch others play when the club plans to set up a new team.

"So that's it – I am preparing for my leap into the unknown. It's going to be another adventure."

That rug really tied the room together.

Drogba is a legend !! i know lot of people hate him, he's a diving, cheating clown but i think the guy is hilarious, bit of a lovable rogue about him.

Always smiling, joking & seems like a good guy off the pitch. Can only respect the amount of charity work he does too. He is a character & an incredible footballer that the premier league will miss.

Seems to be a great man off the pitch, but he's a cunt on it.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has given the green light for a spending spree that could include Lille's Eden Hazard, 21, Porto forward Hulk, 25, and Atletico Madrid striker Radamel Falcao, 26.
