Hmm, if they're after Dzagoev then does that mean the Sigurdsson deal is off? Or can they both fit in the team together?

Why would Sigurdsson go there? They're after Dzagoev, they've got VDV already and Modric too (albeit going). He'd play every week at our place under a manager who knows how to get the best out of him. Frustrating.

Dzagoev and Sigurdsson as replacements for Van Der Vaart and Modric. Extra money to bring in Adebayor permanently and strengthen the defence.

It reeks of Villas Boas to be honest. Technical players who can attack and probe with the ball rather than having a midfield playmaker in the centre of the park.

Think he's pretty average so hope they get him. Hopefully his attitude is the same as Arshavin, Pav and that **** "Billy" Everton had aswell.

                    PSG announce Lavezzi capture
Paris-Saint Germain have confirmed they have signed Ezequiel Lavezzi from Napoli.

The Ligue 1 club have released a statement confirming that the Argentina international has signed a four-year contract with the club.

Lavezzi, 27, will wear the number 11 shirt at PSG and will be presented to the press later this evening at Parc des Princes having completed a medical earlier on Monday.

The transfer is worth an estimated 30 million euros (£24.1 million) and underlines PSG's intent to compete at the very top level of European football.

Lavezzi was one of the key figures in a Napoli team that played in the Champions League last season and at times threatened to disrupt the established order in Italian football.

The forward scored 38 goals in five seasons in Serie A following a move from Estudiantes to the Naples club in 2007.

I know he's getting on a bit, but surely he's better than Blackburn?!

Read or heard somewhere today that he wants more game time and thinks he'll get it there.

                          Fair enough.

Joke of a club though, surely he must've had better offers and have been given plenty of gametime elsewhere.

He must be mid 40s now so getting game time for a championship team isn't a rough deal tbf
