Ibrahimovic will become the most expensive player ever, the fees from his combined transfers over the years – a nomadic trek from Malmo to Ajax to Juventus to Internazionale to Barcelona to Milan – amounting to around €180m to eclipse those commanded by Nicolas Anelka. The Sweden captain will reportedly earn 15 million euros (£11.8 m) per year, while PSG paid 23 million euros (£18m) for the 30-year-old.

Edin Dzeko's agent claims the unsettled Manchester City striker is wanted by AC Milan.

Dzeko is considering his future at City after slipping to fourth in the strikers' pecking order and his camp say Milan have begun talks to sign him as Zlatan Ibrahimovic's replacement at the San Siro.

"Edin would love to play in Serie A and with the Rossoneri," said Susic. "A move to AC Milan is more than possible.

"There have been discussions and they are continuing. Let's see what will happen in the coming days.

"After the departure of Ibrahimovic, Dzeko would be an ideal replacement and it would be a wonderful experience, but we are waiting to see what happens.

"Is there a 70 per cent chance that he ends up at Milan? Maybe."

Ibra is a good player but he's massively over-rated he really is. £11M+ a year, ****ing hell!
