    Scottish Cup Final Thread.

Not much of interest for anyone outside of Edinburgh, but as an ex-Hearts Season ticket holder I can vouch that todays is a massive final for everyone in Edinburgh.

First Hearts v. Hibs Final since 1896.
Hibs haven't won the cup since 1902.
Hearts fans ram that fact down Hibs supporters throats every derby.
Hearts haven't lost to Hibs in 5 years.

Its going to be nerve wracking. Without stating the obvious not a game either club wants to lose.

Good to see teams outside Glasgow get some limelight. Do you think it'll be a good game or do Edinburgh derbys tend to be attritional?

Is there a genuine feeling from either team that they could build on a win to challenge for the league now Rangers have been so much weakened?

    Good luck to your boys.

It won't be pretty. But it will be exciting.

Not really sure what the future holds for either club, Hearts are forced to get rid of quite a few big players after today as the club looks to cut costs. It could be interesting next season with Rangers future uncertain, and the transfer embargo they face. All that really means is Celtic will walk it again

The biggest game for both Edinburgh teams in either's History, and a great end to a troubled season for Scottish Football.

Yep. Hearts getting a bit complacent. Could be interesting from now...

Well... That ended up being a bit of a walk in the park.

Shame the Hearts team will be broken up.
