    #Liverpool fans - #LFC full-back Fábio Aurélio signs for #Grêmio - Sambafoot: http://sambafoot.com/en/news/31609_l..._TiZrM.twitter
Grêmio may announce the signing of Liverpool full-back Fábio Aurélio to fans after tonight's Copa do Brasil quarter-final clash.

Fábio Aurélio, 32, was a key player for both Valencia and Liverpool under manager Rafa Benitez, winning two La Liga titles and a UEFA Cup.

The former-São Paulo man is out of contract and set to return to Brazil, with Grêmio believed to have struck an agreement.

"We have already signed with one player, who we will announce to fans maybe on Friday, or maybe tomorrow after the game," said Grêmio director Paulo Pelaipe.

"It is all agreed and we are sorting the paperwork, then we will make an announcement."

Fábio Aurélio, a member of the 2000 Olympic Games squad, will join fellow veterans Zé Roberto and Gilberto Silva at the club for the coming season.

Thats good news for him. Nice way to wind down your career. I hope he can stay relatively injury free for them.

I hope for his sake he doesn't get injured signing the contract.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

                  Good luck to him.

Won't say anymore on his injuries as it's been done to death.

                  Good luck Fabio.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                        Classy footballer.

Just thinking last night how that's another one of Rafa's good signings gone.

We really haven't had the best of luck over the years with our fullbacks and injury problems - Jones, Heggem, Babbel, Aurelio. Even Johnson and Kelly to an extent.

It's only the good ones, I can't ever recall the **** ones (Josemi, Kromkamp or Traore) ever getting injured

                            Pity about that.

If only we could swap our injuries.

Oh my God. Aurelio has ruptured ligaments and will be out for at least six months.
