Are you sure about that? The rules state that you can change your captain during matchday, but I think by "matchday" they are referring to each round of games, ie matchday 2 starts on June 12th.

You are correct. I went to change it and it said you would lose any captain bonus points for the matchday.

Which in itself is interesting as it can be used tactically to pick a captain from the first calendar day of a 'matchday'. If he does well leave it, if he doesn't then change it.

I think you can make subs for each day of matches but transfers can be made for each "Match Day" IE - After all teams have played 1 game.

Then for every teams second game you can make subs...

So in effect I could substitute my players out of the team who played yesterday (i.e. russia players) and bring in those on my bench if they are playing today. In effect scoring points twice?

Also if I had a russian player as captain today, I could change the captaincy again today if I wanted to. My previous captain would lose his captain bonus points but it's a tactical risk maybe worth taking.

I think if you sub players out who have played you lose those points for the match day total I.e. Russia player, think its only worth doing if you had a player in that didn't do well and only scored a point for example, take him out you'd lose that point but the sub you've brought on could score more.

Chesney would be the example, but the rules suggest gk's are auto scorers on the bench or in the team. It's not the clearest FF I've ever played!
