    Nik @TouchlineDrama
Zlatan Ibrahimovic to L'Équipe—"I'd also get 90 goals a year if I goal-snatched and they gifted me penalties like the referees do for Barça"
    Nik @TouchlineDrama
Haha. That's just got to be a fake quote right? I'm going out to buy a copy of L'Équipe right now. Even Zlatan wouldn't, surely…

Ah, friendly fire; was a fake quote by L'Équipe reporter @salimbaungally. I got a bit liberal translating "voler" to "goal-snatched" anyway.

You cannot be serious! Messi is so much more better than him, much more complete. Even in terms of shooting Messi is unbelievable. I don't think people quite understand just how great Leo is. Every time he plays we just expect him to score atleast twice, thats the standard he has set

I am totally 100% serious. Ronaldo changed modern football. He was doing things on the pitch no-one had ever seen. With Messi, as you say, you expect him to score every game, but his style just doesn't excite me as much as Ronaldo did. I think I am a skills man and Messi is more of a speed merchant with unbelievable close control.

Modern Football is Ronaldo. He defined it. Pace, Power, Skill, Control, Poise, Technique. He had everything. The best there has been.

Ah, there's no-one quite like your first love. My guess is Maxiedge and Baracus were children - probably about 13 - when Ronaldo was at his peak.

FW it's W, I think Messi is better than Ronaldo.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Unfortunately, La Liga is ****. Like to see someone score 56 goals in the Premier League against real defenders
In the beginning, Fowler created the Heaven and the Earth.

Ah..he was not my first love..in fact when I was 13 Ronaldo had not even come on to the world scene never mind play in world cup '98. 1st world cup I recall was '90 hazy as it is in memory.

My First love would be Rush/Aldo. I never could tell who was which when I was a nipper - chuckle brothers. Just looked the same. Loved Breadsley too[sp?].

But on world stage..well many. Spelling errors a plenty here, Batistuta?, Baggio, some guy ends in kOv starts with S, played for Barca IIRC, can't spell his name. Roooooomarioooo, Voller, Klismann, Haji, Suker..I'd have to have Batistua ahead of them all. There are many just can't recall names.

                        Thank you good sir..good dog

                                Stoichkov -

He played in the European Cup final and got owned by AC Milan.

                                4-0 winners, ouch!
