I think that's an interesting and good idea. But he was stiff as a board during the game. He needs media training ASAP.Originally posted by The Red Cardinal View PostDon't forget Mark Halsey giving his 'insight' into the refereeing.
Also thought Owen did well.

On the subject of Redknapp, I was listening to him talking about Sunderland's Giaccherini and he was going on about how he couldn't believe Juve had sold him because he was so brilliant for them, so vital and scored tons of goals for themOriginally posted by Bryncoch View PostAt least BT don't have Redknapp. For Van Persie's goal today apparently his first touch was superb.....the ball bounced above his ****ing head! The technique for the finish was good but the ball was still above his head...it should have been a foul and a booking for dangerous play. If Williams had tried to head it away he could have been seriously injured.
He was actually nearly always a sub for Juve and scored about 3 goals his whole time there. I love it when pundits try to make it sound like they know it all but really don't have a clue

Redknapp was the one who praised Alonso's performance in our 4-1 win at Old Trafford in '09, when apparently he was spraying the ball around like a passmaster (he didnt even play in the game).Originally posted by -V- View PostOn the subject of Redknapp, I was listening to him talking about Sunderland's Giaccherini and he was going on about how he couldn't believe Juve had sold him because he was so brilliant for them, so vital and scored tons of goals for them

I thought the same with Owen. He actually provided a bit of analysis of the game. Which is something BBC and ITV really lack. Neville is OK with that, but not great.Originally posted by Rich View PostI think that's an interesting and good idea. But he was stiff as a board during the game. He needs media training ASAP.

*Except Michael, who died.
