I pay less than that with Virgin, inclusive of internet and phone, but not movies. Are you with Virgin or Sky?
    Oh I don't know.

      SKY.

Broadband and phone are with BT.

You're getting ripped off, methinks. Can you get Virgin?

Might be worth ringing Sky anyway and asking for a loyalty discount.
        Oh I don't know.

I can get Virgin, but they don't have Sky Atlantic and I love that channel. Plus, I am tied in with BT for another year on phone/broadband.

Will probably try and get some kind of discount from Sky, but I won't hold my breath.

Tell them you are having financial trouble and they usually help out.

Definitely don't hold you breath. It will be almost impossible to negotiate a good deal with them if you do that.

You could always cancel Sky Sports and just watch for free online

The worst thing is I'll end up keeping ESPN for the UFC.

I haven't missed a match in years and I've never had sky sports. Used to go the foreign satellite tv route for the games then discovered streaming. Not always the best quality but beats paying them ****ers their inflated fees.

It also means you don't have to listen to the god-awful standard of "analysis" or commentary served up by Sky or ESPN.

Over-excitable foreign commentators make even the dullest of games sound more exciting GOL!!!!!! GOOOOOOLLLLL!!!!!!!! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL LL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure how much longer I want to do this, FFS £70 odd quid a month as it is. Absolute rip off.
Your getting seriousley ripped off there. For that type of money you should be getting your other services (landline & broadband) included.

I pay Virgin £85p/m and that includes all channels, ESPN, unlimited landline, 30mb broadband & HD box in 2nd room.

Id speak to them about it and quote some other providers.

Good point. Just get a quote from Virgin and the present them with that, then ask them to match, or better it, otherwise you're off.
                            Oh I don't know.

Or if you have two mates split it between the three of you and two can watch it via Sky Go, either on iOS or through a pc/laptop. I do this with my parents/sister and save a bundle.
