Michael Laudrup new Swansea City manager

well, all but confirmed. Swansea web team today ran a "Laudrup career in pictures" for a short while, but was removed quickly after it was to early.

But what do people reckon of that appointment? I think he fits in well with the way they played last year, and can go in quickly. He will need a few new players though.

    Interesting appointment.

He's got a big task ahead of him to carry on the good work of Rodgers, so I'm looking forward to seeing how he does.

Not easy taking a team in the second season of the PL and improving it. Interesting appointment as said, and look forward to seeing what style he will implement and what players he can attract.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It's really refreshing to see one of the lower clubs give a manager like Laudrup a go, sick of seeing failures get chance after chance.. He'll help them attract players from abroad too.

Lucky sods. It'll be good to see how he gets on and whether he can build upon Rodgers' philosophy.
