I'm not sure that is true. I'd see his more as a forward who can come into midfield to link, with Sigurðsson playing deeper. I think Dempsey could be a very handy player for us, but a lot depends on what we do with other attacking players in the squad. With Dirk gone I think there is a vacancy for someone like him.
