      I think Dempsey has had his peak season. He'll be on a downward slide now and if we were to have picked him up, it should have been last season.

      Dempsey will never repeat the form he displayed last season again.

              Unlike Charlie Adam, Dempsey has been performing consistently well for 5 years in the EPL. Charlie had one good season in the EPL before we signed him. Hardly comparable.

                              Dempsey is closer to Messi than PFK imo. Although he's not a world beater he would not necessarily be the worst option in the world...

                                I don't think so. He could be another Kevin Phillips for all we know. Nothing I have seen from him has impressed me enough for him to warrant our interest. IMO of course.
