Like most on here neither excited nor disappointed with Dempsey. He will offer us another option that we currently do not have within the squad eg when playing with Carroll. And is also far better alternative as a striker to Kuyt.

The player I really want from Fulham is Dembele.

Clint Dempsey takes me back to last summers **** ups of a horribly overpriced player that did a decent job at a midtable club because the entire set up, formation and play is moulded around them in the same way Blackpool did around Adam, i wouldn't go near Dempsey or Mark ****ing Davies for that matter with a ****ty stick.

It just shows how low expectations are when people try and talk themselves into thinking this type of mediocrity is what we aspire towards

If we spend £10M on Dempsey fine IF we've got another 60-70M to actually bring in young, talented footballers that will make a difference this season and for the foreseeable future. (a very unlikely scenario!)

Sigurdsson apart I really don't think the tabloids have a clue on who we're after and are using the old "cast the net wide approach" for who we might actually be in for.
