Yes but there are many other arguments against Dempsey and it was just his scoring being lauded.

It just seems you don't like him to much and are finding reasons to discredit him as a footballer.

You could use the set up argument for a multitude of other things people will talk about him for.

For what its worth, I think he is a squad player, and that's not what we need at the moment,he is also approaching the later stages of his career so we would only get 2 maybe 3 more years out of him. Doesn't mean I don't want us to sign him.

What does he lack ? you watch him much ? Hes an attacking Midfielder whos turned Striker, hes intelligent, hard working, strong, good on the ball and his link up play is superb, he also plays exceptionally well in the hole just behind a striker ...

i think he has more of a bad boy image. he has been known to stick the elbow in a few times. it moight not equate to massive shirt sales with dempsey written on the back, but it will certainly raise LFC's profile in the US of A.

See I don't think he has those attributes, he is decent in the air, he work rate is decent, but I don't thinkhis alround play is up to the standard we need.
