Even aside from the 'fear of leaving the home = homophobia' comment.

Pirlo has won Serie A 3 times (including last year his first at Juve), the Champions League twice and the World Cup. His career is hardly lacking in any department. The Premiership clearly needs him more than he needs the prem...

    ...the big poof.
    Modifying post.

In trying to make SOME sense out of what Mr Brown was saying I think he meant xenophobic rather than homophobic, at least that would be correct in the context of what he is saying in the rest of his sentence.

If he truly meant homophobic, Lord help us...

          Cheers!

Seriously though, this inflated opinion of the Prem is cringe worthy.

3 Serie A / 2 CLs / 1 World Cup >>>>> Getting a ****e team talk on the pitch by the only bloke in Hull with a perma-tan.

Completely forgot about his team talk on the pitch.

            What a knob.

Homophobic -> Fear of leaving home?

              No?
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

A blend of the two IMO.

                Idiotic either way.

Let's not be Philophobic now chaps, he's obviously not the sharpest tool in the box, although a tool he most definitely is.

                  Edit - I don't even realise that's a proper phobia
                  Hello mert.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

K'in Phil Brown, I spoke to him in a club once.

Told me that one day he would manage a team in the Champions League, and that Hul City where nailed on to sign Negredo.

                        Cracking tan.

It's called Weir Bar, was a few years ago now, apperently Negredo actually did to watch a Hull game though, think they lost it 6-1 to City.

He obviously means xenophobic imo. Its an amusing slip, but that's all.
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
                                Mine angry and defrauded young?
