If only they'd had Hodgson as manager
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Really don't understand the Pirlo love. He was decent but when the other team stuck a player near him his game dried up.

Frankly the English press are bigging him up because England were **** and Hodgson's dinosaur tactics are fatally flawed when up against a deep playmaker - how can you when you sit deep and don't press high up the pitch?!

I think he ran out of gas, he played a lot of games for a 35 year old.

Roy Keane was a revelation on the couch, Martinez made some salient if a little muddled observations, Gareth Southgate was distractingly hideous to look at - no wonder he was such a **** manager, everyone would have been mesmerized by his weird gappy teeth and humungous conk. Tyldesly is awful, Townsend sounds like a bit part Eastenders comedy storyline character.

BBC need to get their **** together and shake up the old boys act. Shearer's high pitched, childish mock indignation is grating. He never says anything interesting, Lawrenson is a dried up, bitter old queen and should be sacked, Hansen was last known to be interesting when he appeared on TFI Friday and Lee Dixon, can you describe what he actually looks like?

TV Moments of the tournament - Keane's scowling at the nervous Chiles. Chiles asking Keane what he thought of sitting next to Vieira, Keane waving his hands in disdainful exasperation, sighing and shaking his head in response. Keane telling the Irish fans that he's sick of pissed dickheads turning up for the craic. The Italian fella sat by the ITV panel actually thinking he was part of the team.

Oh - and best of all. Joe Hart gurning at Pirlo then looking like a cat falling off a windowsill as he dinks his penalty down the middle after giving it "I know what you're going to do"

            **** you Joe Hart!

It is not just the ads on ITV, it is the volume of them.

                        The volume of the ads?

So it's still the ads then, eh?

ITV opening credits were the worst in history. Still having nightmares of their Roy doll.
