        Never.

They generate a massive amount of revenue every year to the point that even with their massive debts they are still not really in financial trouble.

If they ever get rid of the debt they will be the dominant force in world football for a long time.Their spending power would be enormous and entirely within the bounds of FFP.

People like AndersRed are on the glazers back because the club is wasting a lot of that spending power on interest payments just so they can be owned by the glazers, not because the club is at risk of financial meltdown.

For all the money the Glazers have taken out of the club, they are still the dominant force in this country.

Talk of their demise has been going on for years and they're still the team to beat. Only when they change manager might we see them to begin to struggle.

Their demise started last season. They won **** all, even with a healthy lead with 6 games to go in the PL, they blew it.

They are now on the slippery slope into the abyss

                    Ferguson not happy.

Sir Alex Ferguson speaks out over Manchester United share issue

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson says there is 'not a grain of truth' in rumours he claims to benefit from the Glazer's family's New York flotation of Manchester United.

The Reds boss has broken his silence in spectacular fashion via a strongly-worded statement revealed first by the M.E.N. website this afternoon.

On Monday further details of the flotation, which will see the owners sell 10 per cent of the club and raise an estimated $300m, were released.

After initially stating that all of the funds raised would be spent on clearing a chunk of the club's debt the latest proposal revealed just £73m will go towards this purpose.

It also disclosed that under a '2012 Equity Incentive Award Plan' senior Old Trafford employees stood to benefit to the tune of £204m.

That prompted some fans to question whether Sir Alex and chief executive David Gill would personally cash in on the move.

But Fergie, who recently went on record to praise the club's owners, has now denied that is the case.

His statement reads: "Being aware of the media coverage that is currently ongoing I felt, on this occasion, that I should make my position clear to the Manchester United fans.

"In regards to suggestions that I have praised the Glazer Family because I stand to financially benefit from the proposed IPO, there is not a single grain of truth in this allegation. I do not receive any payments, directly or indirectly, from the IPO.

"Ultimately, I run the football side of this club and in order to do this, you need backing from above.

"The Glazer family have let me get on with my job, there is no interference or obstruction, only support.

"My decisions and beliefs are not based around what is best for my personal financial gain. That is an accusation that insults me. If that was the case, I would have left Old Trafford a long time ago.

"I am speaking out because I do not want a situation to develop whereby the media and other parties create a rift, however small, between myself and any Manchester United fan. I've spent 25 years of my life pushing this club forward and not only could I not have done it without those fans, I do it for them."

Unless there's a racehorse involved obvioulsy, willing to go to war with one of the clubs biggest shareholders over that! eh! But an ownership bleeding the club dry...thats all fine and dandy, nothing to see here. .

And where would he have gone that he'd have received the treatment and backing he's had for almost 30 years? Utterl drivel from Fergie.

I bet he is on for a golden handshake when they sell the shares. Hence the backing.

I'd be shocked if Fergie doesn't have some sort of "reward" heading his way when he finally decides he's had enough or the Glaziers start flogging bits of Utd off to help finance the other parts of the empire thats struggling

                              The Glazier's should be knighted.

Perhaps but I wonder if there's some financial irregularity going on there. We could service our debts at one point but it went downhill as soon as the GFC hit. It's not like greedy people haven't ****ed up a company before.
