I know Adebayor and Santa Cruz might leave 99%.. but what about Dzeko or Tevez? PSG or something?
They're trying to get rid of Dzeko. Almost agreed a deal with Bayern Munich, but that broke down.

    Aguero, Balotelli, Van Persie, Tevez.

I'd put Silva as a midfielder for them.

True that.. I'd take Dzeko in a heartbeat tbh. Yes, I know Silva is MF, but he's pretty much attacking kind of player..

Arsenal's second-biggest shareholders have written to owner Stan Kroenke expressing "deep reservations" about how the American is running the club after captain Robin van Persie refused to sign a new contract.

Alisher Usmanov and Farhad Moshiri say in the letter obtained Thursday by The Associated Press that a "tight" financial regime is leading to manager Arsene Wenger "selling his best players and having to continue to find cheaper replacements."

They complain that "we are faced with losing our true marquee player" because we cannot "give confidence that we can win trophies," asking "where are the safeguards to ensure that this doesn't happen again and again?"

The pair own just under 30 per cent of Arsenal through investment company Red & White but haven't been allowed by Kroenke to join the board.

They've been on a downgrade, cheap replacement policy since they moved into their new ground. At least they have their stadium though, eh?

Bit like us then, but we don't even have a new stadium to show for it.
            Oh I don't know.

Usmanov has apparently written a letter to the Arse board saying he has deep reservations about how the club is being run.

You get the feeling that if he were to gain control, he'd spunk loads of money on players.

But then again, maybe that's what he wants Arse fans to think.

They have some serious money among the shareholders at Arsenal, they have their oligarch but his hands are apparently tied, due to a seemingly big difference of opinion on how best to move ahead.

Frustrating as hell for the fans.

                Letter is here.

Check out the bit at the start about the sponsorship. Its a pretty explosive letter.

                      Tru fax.

Would be interesting to read how much they owe on their stadium though?

If it's a short-term plan to wipe some of their overheads, with a long-term vision to increase salaries and compete in the future, fair play to them. If they start to think they can actually run a football club as a successful business, I think they could start to struggle.

And consistently finished in the top 4. Increasingly small group of clubs that can claim that.

Anyone have an idea what Munich's deal for Dzeko was like?

We should try and snatch him on loan.
