I'm quite surprised by this. I really thought he wanted to go to Juve but I guess they just weren't willing to pay the fee although £24m is not bad, even if he has only got one year left on his contract.

I reckon this could be a good move for Arsenal, getting ~30m or something for a 28 year old that have only really been prolific and injury free for 1½ season. He is a very good striker when fit, but a lot of question in those regards.

I don't think Utd would be too fussed about shielding the Goal. If ****pants recovers fully. They will have Carrick or Flecther maybe Anderson. They are more likely to score more then opposition too. Qaulity Striker, best in League. Hope
