Rubbing his paws until they bleed, whilst he makes accusatory glances at the zookeeper.

That would have worked better if Tatters hadn't gone soppy

He chose his cage. Could have ****ed off last year and we would all have been happier.

like you say this mofo had numerous chances to leave last season and before but he's got a nice contract he'll sit on it then leave.

Maybe if he had played like a lion released from his cage when he got on the pitch he might have had a future here.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Players really are just a bit stupid, they suffer because of ego. If a manager wants to sell you - take the hint! A glorious season at the Stadium of Light was spurned for the bench.

I guess it's slightly more complicated than that. Given that we had a chance to make a profit on him last summer as a player who wasn't key to our squad and we could quite easily have done without we were always going to sell. If Sunderland's offer had been £4-5m we might have been more tempted to keep him. It depends what Rodgers has said, if Rodgers for example told Borini that the offer was too good for the club to turn down, that doesn't necessarily tell Borini that the manager doesn't want him or wouldn't find him useful if he stayed. He also probably looked at the situation with Henderson were he went from Rodgers trying to get rid of him to a key member of the team and thought he could do the same.

This was Borini's chance at a big club playing in the CL, he was coming off the back of a decent season at Sunderland where he had got used to the league, his confidence was high and there were spaces opening up at LFC due to Suarez leaving and us having a small squad to start with. It probably seemed like the ideal opportunity for him, I don't think I can blame him for that (as much as I would have prefered the £14m for the club to spend).

He was offered more at Sunderland and QPR last year than he's on with us.
A lot of people run a race to see who is fastest. I run to see who has the most guts, who can punish himself into exhausting pace, and then at the end, punish himself even more.

People also do not appreciate how many times he has moved around in a very short period of time, decent player with potential, just did not fall for him at LFC, I wish him luck in his next club, I think he will be ultimately successful

I think Borini's a decent player and if he makes the right move he can be a success. Never seemed to be a good fit for us and his end product was poor. Given a run of games for a team more suited to him and he'll probably start banging them in. I wish him all the best and hope he does the decent thing for himself and the club.

his head was gone at the beginning of the last preseason, Brendan bigged him up and brought him back into the 'group' then he tried to flog him
