I've slept a lot since Saturday, but did Borini mean to play the pass for Markovic or did he just get clattered?

He's not good enough for us, but he's not that ****, he was playing regular PL football last year and the fans loved him, he's not doing well for us but with the amount of playing time that he gets, there's no possibility of that ever changing.
I think he'd be a lot better than he's shown if he was given the chance, but I still don't think that would be good enough for a team trying to remain in the top 4I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"

Oh sorry Mary, if that constitutes abusing a player I apologise.Originally posted by Daffy Duck View PostWell, you've called him '****' and 'turd' in your last two posts in here

Yeah......not great, but we all knew that already, and hopefully we'll have someone back soon in that role who is much better.
Still.....took his goal well when called upon, but it was a 'limited' performance. Had another chance when Coutinho put in an admittedly high pass, but I think everyone knew he'd never do anything with it.....and, of course, the ball ends up going out for a GK as Fabio is on his arse, already thinking about what he could have done different."I will make the boys feel your support"

One of his worst performances. Thing is, I've always thought he could be the kind of player that he was today. Get into useful positions and even if he ****s up 90% of the situations he's in, still find a way to nab a goal. It's just that he doesn't score the goals, because otherwise we'd have some real use for him. Hopefully he can build on this (the goal, not the performance).

I think Borini does his best work inside the box. Watching him trying to dribble or beat a player is painful.. the guy is so poor technically i've been saying this since he joined. IMO the more time he has on the ball, the worse he is. But he works hard, has decent movement and tries to get in good positions... seems to work best on instinct.
Was a nice finish today although it was literally the only good thing he did.. but sure he still scored. Will take Sturridge awhile to get back to full fitness so Borini might get a good bit of game time.
Not a fan of Borini but really hoping he can score a few goals and help us out.Last edited by danperkins; 17-01-15, 11:26 PM.

Took his goal well but Sturridge would have had a hattrick presented with the same opportunities. Technically he is not good at all, he works hard and runs around a lot but makes the wrong decision or screws up 4 out of 5 times, no awareness of players around him or worse he has and chooses to ignore them and adopt a shoot on sight policy.
Basically he's not very goodKurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08
