            I was saying earlier in the match that we needed someone to calm things down and he did exactly that. We looked a different team with him on the pitch.

            Looks a good signing so far.

              when he came on against hearts he seemed to get a hold of the midfield very quickly. He does look impressive but the real test will come against the top sides like city, arsenal and co.

              what i like is that he doesnt panic on the ball. seems very cool and calm.

                  Brodge seemed happy to pay the money to get him......I think we will have a very good player for years to come....

                  This season with Lucas, Allen, Sahin, Gerrard (I hope he goes into the front 3 to be honest) Henderson, Adam we will be fine......also downing played very well for villa for a lot of his last season there in a midfield 3
