Would have liked to have seen him take up the Seville offer, but having been in and out of our first 11 for the past few years, he probably wants to go somewhere that can guarantee him first team football. Stike are building an exciting team, so can see him doing well there.

Not too concerned, speaking to some fans off other clubs they are surprised we sold...i then asked them would they take him at their clubs....all no.
He's a decent enough player but he doesn't 'excel' at anything. Reasonably passer, decent work rate, not particularly creative or a finisher - for me we have too many midfielders like this - lucas/henderson/allen - can't accommodate them all. Good luck to him but i don't think we will miss himi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I feel exactly the same. I like him, seems a sound bloke, and I do think there is a place in the squad for your 'keep it tight' type player who will give maximum effort on the pitch; but Henderson and Milner seem to have that slot sewn up between themOriginally posted by PTP View PostNot too concerned, speaking to some fans off other clubs they are surprised we sold...i then asked them would they take him at their clubs....all no.

I think the balance of our midfield has been off for a while - too many link players not enough thrust. Allen was the most obvious casualty. It will be interesting to see how he does at Stoke where he might well be asked to act as the midfield hub."The man who never alters his opinion is like standing water, and breeds reptiles of the mind."

Apparently his wife struggled to settle on merseyside ( they moved something like 3 times - allegedly) so going abroad probably wasn't an option.

Well, on her twitter account she mentions Mr Kipling cakes and River Island, so Liverpools probably not sophisticated enough for her. According to one of her tweets she has "No time for cashier small talk", but enough time to write the tweet on her phone. Bloody cashier peasants trying to make small talk. Maybe the cashiers in Liverpool were just too chatty to settle?Last edited by tanner; 26-07-16, 06:02 PM.SakhoPotatoes

and arguably Milner offers a little more withm creativity and can play a number of positions and Hendo is bit more physical in height, engine speed
