Will be interesting to see if they continue playing three at the back - I don't think they have the personnel for it; Savic is poor and you can really see why they want Agger.

City for me should win the league again this season, the main issue they'll have is Mancini not a great manager IMO.

I don't get some of the criticism of Mancini, he did what was wanted of him last season albeit with the last kick of the season. He's put together a pretty formidable team at City.
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

He's defo done alright for himself, he's embarrassingly bad in Europe though.

He's had a lot of money given to him to create that side, I think a better manager would have walked the league with that side last season.

He did what was asked of him but only just.

Yeah. Apparently they've been playing three at the back throughout pre-season. They could do it with Richards, Kompany and Lescott but beyond that they've got nobody worthwhile. Savic has always looked poor.

Hopefully us and Agger will tell them where to go.

Hmmmm strange tactic that for City, you can understand the interest in Agger then.

I think we could do them early doors...if the first team is out and they harrass like they do then City might take us for granted..

I'm not sure it is that easy to create a winning mentality. The real test of how well he has managed them will come this season IMO. I wouldn't say anyone has improved enough to offer them a realistic challenge. This is the season he should win with some level of comfort (assuming Chelsea don't magically gel early in the season).

FA have told #CFC Branislav Ivanovic will NOT be banned for yesterday's red card. Community Shield is classed as 'non 1st-team game'
No Alex, he is defiantly Banned.
