Personally, I am not a fan. Reminds me of another Walcott. One trick pony and predictable. Does the same move every time.

I know people will see he is only 21 and will develop but I'd rather we worked with the likes of Sterling, than to bring in Tello who I seriously don't think is much of an improvement on Raheem.

There is a misconception that if you play for Barcelona you must be talented.

I think Barca have said today that he won't be going anywhere on loan or otherwise.

He is alright player.

Good pace, can pass and play wide and inside which is why Rodgers may want him.

It would be a good move by us we don't have money to spend and he'll add a new dimension to our offense.

The handful of times I've seen him play he has been pretty poor. I'd rather Walcott or as you say give Sterling a chance.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers believes he is close to landing Barcelona's prized winger Cristian Tello on loan.

Rodgers has been after Tello since taking over at Anfield in June and feels the pacy, tricky wideman would fit perfectly into his preferred playing style.

Barcelona are believed to be reluctant to sell Tello when the Spaniard's career is just taking off, and would prefer a season-long loan deal.

The 21-year-old Catalan is also understood to be reluctant to leave the Nou Camp permanently, having fulfilled a dream when he rejoined Barca from Espanyol two years ago.

He would be open to a loan deal though, as he knows he needs the regular football that he would get at Liverpool if he wants to progress his career.

Tello's signing would be a coup for Rodgers as the attacker is being eyed up by a host of clubs, including Arsenal, Valencia, Malaga and Benfica.

He has made a big impact at Barca since making his La Liga debut in January, scoring twice in his first Champions League appearance against Bayer Leverkusen in March.

Not too far off, but I wouldn't say he's a proper winger either, which is why I'd say he's more in common with Theo Walcott.

seen him probably half a dozen times. he is ridiculously quick but unlike Walcott he can do a stepover but its mainly kick and rush past a player.

Our squad needs pace and this lad has it abundance but havent seen enough to know if he is going to be Dernis Rommedahl MKII

loan deal for tello then maybe be tempted but id rather we spend on trying to get walcott and give sterling a chance from the bench.

Arsenal have let another quality player wind down his contract, With a year left he could sign for us in January for Peanuts or the summer for nothing ?
