Our Pepe isn't anywhere near the level of Valdes and Casillas anymore is he?

      Meh.

Modric has played about 15 minutes of football at RM and won more than he did his whole time at Spurs (I think - can't be arsed to actually check).

It just shows how much he improved due to the experience of working under 'Arry "Genius" Redknapp.
          .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Ronaldo's first touch for his goal was absolutely outstanding, think Messi's freekick overshadowed it though.

Awesome stuff by madrid... sure they should have been about 6 up by half time. Very entertaining although weird to see Barca finishing with 10 men. La Liga is set up for a stormer between these two... it is by a mile the greatest fixture in the world!

Ronaldo is a cunt but he is a remarkable footballer... and long gone when he doesn't do anything against big teams.. think he scored against Barca in last 5 or 6 on the trot. Sublime first touch for goal & Messi's free kick was insane. What a game!

Cristiano Ronaldo left reporters scratching their heads tonight when he said he did not celebrate his goals in Real Madrid's 3-0 La Liga home win over Granada because he was "sad" for "professional" reasons.

The Portugal international, who asked to be substituted after picking up a knock in the second half at the Bernabeu, said his feelings had nothing to do with losing out to Andres Iniesta for the Best Player in Europe award on Thursday but refused to elaborate.

"I don't celebrate goals when I am feeling sad and that's the case today," Ronaldo said, adding it was a "professional" and not a "personal" issue.

"The people who work here know why and I won't say anymore than that," he said

                              Ronaldo reports dog Real
Claims that superstar forward is far from happy

Reports in Spain claim that Cristiano Ronaldo has told Real Madrid president Florentino Perez that he wants to quit the club.

Every Spanish media outlet is in harmony over the Ronaldo story, insisting that the Portuguese had a meeting on Saturday with Perez, director general Jose Angel Sanchez and his agent Jorge Mendes.

It is reported that Ronaldo has made it clear to the club he is not happy, with Cadena Ser de Radio saying the main issue is a falling out within the squad between certain players and that he does not feel 'valued' by the club.

And some sources also say that despite having three years left on his current contract, the former Manchester United superstar is shocked that no new deal has been offered to him.

The news broke after Ronaldo visibly failed to celebrate either of his two goals in Real's 3-0 win over Granada on Sunday.

After the match Ronaldo confirmed that he was not happy - but refused to divuluge the reasons for this.

Ronaldo is now due to link-up with Portugal this week for their World Cup qualifiers against Luxembourg and Azerbaijan.

Smacks of Rooney this. Show me you love me give me a new contract and more money.
