Excellent is a bit strong. But first half especially he was covering very well. Still don't think he's shown that much yet, certainly not the level of player I hoped he might be.

When he gets the ball he looks quality but he often goes missing and clearly can't defend. If he was paired with Lucas perhaps we'd see the best of him, still early days and I'm hopeful BR can find a way to get the best out of him.

I think he was, yes. Perhaps that's where his future lies here - as an advanced playmaker because I don't think he has the attibutes to be a dominant CM in the PL.

I always thought he was going to be. I only saw him as a Silva type player. Certainly not as someone who can play in the middle of the park. Somebody who plays off the striker

I didn't see all of last nights game but I haven't been overly impressed with him so far tbh.

BUT he does seem to be getting played in a defensive role rather than an attacking one so maybe being pushed further forward he might prove more effective.

I had never seen him before we got him so can't really comment on him as a footballer but plenty of people on here were wanking over him before we signed so perhaps he is decent and we haven't seen the best of him yet.

Also he hasn't played a lot of games either which isn't going to help his case for being a regular starter in all fairness.
