                  Unlikely as he's on loan. As for Assaidi, think he might be a bit too raw - has been when I have seen him against PL players in any case..

                    it is a full season loan, isnt it. not just till january...
                    he needs to start showing his worth/potential or he will be bin bagged back to maureen and the real madrid reserves.
                    removing all the weak links makes us stronger

                    too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

                          on the basis of the season so far, i can't recommend making his deal permanent. he has plenty of time to make me want him come back next season, but so far thumbs down. we can spend our money better. if he gets back to his best FOR US and plays as well as we know he can FOR US, then sign him up.

                            Played a couple of really good passes before he went off.

                            I really don't understand it, he was awesome at Dortmund just hasn't been able to kick on here yet.

                            Hopefully the re-introduction of Lucas will aid him, as he will have less defensive duties, which is the part I feel he struggles with the most.

                              I'm wondering what the point in using him is if he's leaving in the summer anyway. Allen will gain more for having the relevant time in position, Lucas is our main man in DM and Gerrard will always be ahead of a loanee.

                              Shelvey might never be anyhere near the same class, but he'll benefit from playing more too. He's learning and he's staying.

                              Sahin, for all his talent - what is the point in LFC persevering? Doing Real a favour?
