Off the front man isn't really Sahin's position

It's interesting that we want to buy him given that he's hardly played and when he has he's hardly set the league alight. I rated him when we got him on loan and I still think he's a good player (better than he's shown here), but given the current situation I find it odd that we are persuing the situation. I just hope we can get him for a decent price.

I guess it depends on why he isn't playing. If it is injury related but Rodgers sees progress behind the scenes then maybe it makes sense. Perhaps we just want to make early moves in case he has a great second half of the season or this is just nonsense speculation from journalists with space to fill?

The article is full of assumptions (no quotes whatsoever) and written by Buxton who I wouldn't consider a good source when it comes to L4

              From the mirror

Meanwhile, Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is ready to pull the plug on Nuri Sahin’s loan stay at the Kop from Real Madrid.

The little attacking midfielder has been a flop since his expensive season-long stint began and he is unable to get near to the side.

Now the Anfield club are looking into ways of cancelling the move halfway through its term - and saving around £3 million in the process.

Liverpool signed up for paying a year of Sahin’s salary and also a rental fee to Real on top as he joined as one of Rodger’s big captures.

But Sahin has been found wanting in the hurly-burly of the Premier League and the cash would be spent on sorting out the final details of Thomas Ince’s move from Blackpool.

Ince is seen as a player with a full-time future at Liverpool and Sahin may be sacrificed to bring in extra funds to pay the Seasiders who are haggling over the current offer for their star attacker.

Real were happy to see Sahin go to Liverpool for first-team football, but they may be reluctant to take him back - unless they can find him another home.

Negotiations between the two giants are about to become serious, with Sahin’s days on Merseyside numbered if agreement can be reached.

He has been pretty poor so I's say that's justified

                  Bollocks article I'd say.

He seems like a player who would need time to settle into the premier league. He has bags of talent, so to write him off seems silly. Almost as silly as signing him on a one season only deal.

All this "hurly burly of the PL" is so over-exaggerated IMO. He's hardly played and hasn't once played in his correct position - ****ing give him a chance FFS.

It really is as simple as this.

Our midfield is also constantly changing, we should try and play a settled midfield IMO, kind of reflects
the poor balance of the team.

IMO Rodgers still hasn't got our midfield functioning properly, it's still imbalanced and a bit of a mess.

Bang on mate. He's clearly a quality player who deserves a chance.
