Thanjk you.
Paul.S
only possible benefit of him going on loan would be if we had some sort of emergency call back option - ie, lucas out now till say November.....if we sell adam and loan out spearing, it leaves us with shelvey/henderson/allen/gerrard/sahin - so we should be ok, but IF something happened, say a 3 match suspension or someone picks up a knock and we are left a bit short in the middle, we still have the option to bring back spearing for cover
then by xmas, hopefully lucas is back fit and we can sell spearing in the jan window
i own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do
If he gets proper game time and looks fairly good - a la guthrie at newcastle/warnock at blackburn then his fee may even increase the interest in him come Jan.
Could also go the other way of course but only time will tell.
Liverpool midfielder Jay Spearing is set to seal a deal to sign for Wanderers on loan.
Spearing sees his future at Anfield and refused to move on a permanent deal, but will sign a deal to join on loan and could be available for the Trotters' trip to Hull City this weekend.
The Wirral-born schemer said: "Obviously I had the chance to join permanently but I see my future at Liverpool and have the utmost confidence I can come here, showcase my skills, show the gaffer what he's missing, come back and force my way in to the side."
"I've been in the side until recently and done great, so it's a surprise to find myself out of the team at the moment but it's only given me more motivation to do well", added the diminutive midfield maestro.
Spearing is champing at the bit to help Wanderers' promotion push.
"Bolton are obviously a great little club and I promise the fans I'll give my all and help us get up the table. The Championship isn't my level - obviously I've proved that I'm a top drawer player - but it's a move that suits all parties at this moment in time."
Spearing hopes to make his debut against Hull City but is dependent on paperwork being processed before the deadline.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
