I think Spearing could do a job for a team trying to avoid relegation. I was thinking we might get one of the promoted clubs offering for him. Been good for Bolton, obviously in the championship but still he's no mug at performing a certain role some teams could really do with. Newcastle are abysmal defensively and they must be binning Tiote this summer, could be a possibility this one.

Nah. I've been subjected to them a lot this year and I think he's a total hit & hope merchant; wasteful and greedy, movement is meh, doesn't hold it up, passing is sketchy, I'd hate him in my team from what I've seen from him over 90 mins of games. For me if they go down this season he'll have been a contributor to that demise

The Geordies don't even seem to rate him massively and they'll rate almost anyone.
