Magnificent scenes at Craven Cottage between Ireland and Oman in their friendly.....
both teams came on to that crap FIFA anthem...lined up, and then the crowd quietened down and the announcer said respect for the national anthems etc
Right so, the Oman anthem.........No, instead they run through another rendition of the FIFA anthem, with the Oman players breaking their bollocks laughing........best bit was right at the end of it, when some fans started clapping believing that that was it.
Then, onto the Ireland anthem..........No, they can't get the stereo going, so the Irish fans start it up themselves before inexplicably breaking into 'Come On You Boys in Green' halfway through
Finally, they get the anthems right but no-one gives a **** anymore.
